The confirmation level indicates the status of the segment within the translation process.

Procedure

1. Go to the Projects view and:

  • To view the confirmation level for each segment in a file:
      1. Go to the Files view.
      2. In the box at the top of the navigation pane, select the required target language. Project files for the target language are displayed on the right.
      3. Double-click that file to open it in the Editor view.
      4. Select the Confirmation Statistics tab at the bottom of the screen.
  • To view the confirmation levels for all the files in a project, select the project, and then display the Confirmation Statistics tab at the bottom of the screen.

2. In the Confirmation Statistics tab, select the options of your choice from the Table Display and Chart Display lists.

Display Settings dialog

Use the Display Settings dialog to define how the confirmation statistics are displayed in the task bar at the bottom of the Editor view. You can choose to display the percentage or number of confirmed words in the active file.

To display this dialog, double-click the confirmation statistics icons on the task bar at the bottom of the Editor view. This task bar is only displayed when you have a file open in the Editor window.

Option Description
Display Unit Select whether the status is shown for each word, character or segment.
Display Value Select whether you display the status in numerical form or as a percentage or both.

Document Structure Information dialog

Use the Document Structure Information dialog to display detailed information about the segment structure. These details indicate where the segment text appears in the source document. This is useful when you are deciding how to translate a segment. For example, text in a header may be translated differently to identical text that appears in the body of a file.

To display this dialog, place the cursor over a code in the Document Structure Column in the Editor view and, when the cursor changes to a hand, select the code.

Option Description
Location This is the location where the segment text appears in the source file. This is the extended version of the code.
Code This is the code used to indicate where the segment text appears in the source file.
Additional Information This is a description of the location of the segment text in the source file.
