This is the guide about Changing MatchRepair settings in SDL Studio Trados 2019, that help you to use SDL Studio Trados 2019 easier.
By default, Match Repair is enabled for the Editor view, and disabled for the two Batch Tasks it can apply to: Analyze Files and Pre-translate Files. If you decide to disable either of the Match Repair options, you can enable them back from the SDL Trados Studio general options to apply it to all future projects or from project settings to apply it only to the current project.
Procedure
- Go to the Projects view and select the project.
- Go to the Home tab, and select Project Settings from the Ribbon.
- Specify MatchRepair settings:
- For all future projects – Go to All Language Pairs > Match Repair.
- For a specific project language pair – Go to [source language] – [target language] > Match Reapir.
- Select On for Editor and/or Batch Tasks to enable Match Repair processing.
- In the Match Repair Source box, enable or disable machine translation for repairing matches, if applicable.
- Configure other project settings if necessary and select OK.
